I’m ready to exercise and eat right – just tell me how to get started
You got it! I’m proud of you for being ready to make this commitment! It only happens when you’re ready for it to happen, so let’s do it.
If you’re already motivated, then the first weapon you need to add to your arsenal is knowledge. If you think you’re eating a healthy diet, but instead you’re eating 3000 calories a day of high-fat goop, you’re not going to get very far. If you think you’re burning the calories with high-intensity exercise, but instead you’re giving yourself long-term stress injuries because you’re doing it wrong, you’re not making much progress. Always consult your doctor before beginning any exercise program. You can also talk to a nutritionist or a personal trainer for advice.

You’ll also find a link there for eating right if you’re detailed-oriented and want to know all the obsessive-compulsive stuff about diet, as well as a link for those of you who want to think about it as little as possible. There are also links for people who enjoy group exercise and those who prefer to try it alone, as well as those who would like to work out at home and those who love being outdoors or playing sports.
Be safe, be strong and go for it!
